Al, the President of LIME would like to invte all LIME and USMINICLUB members to a Dyno day and Show and Shine. Below is the announcement.  Please post your interest by replying to this thread for the Dyno pulls.

Today I met with the Performance Motorsport guys located in Smithtown who operate a state of the art Dyno tuning facility.  They indicated that they would be interesting in Hosting a Dyno Day for LIME & US MINI.  They require a minimum of 15 cars, will do 2  "pulls" per car and the charge will only be $40/car.  They give an award for the lowest output of the day.  They limit the max number of cars to 25.  These are fun Events.
 
I have worked with them, know the owners, and they are a real class act.   They can do it on Saturday Oct 10 during the hours of 10am to 3pm.
 
They will provide pizza & drink and host a Show & Shine at the same time for those that aren't interested in the Dyno pulls, but just want to be there for the fun.  BTW, their shop is worth the cost of admission Smiley    The S&S is $10.00/head.

Hi all - Please note the date change to 10/10/2009. This can only happen if we get a Minimum of 15 cars and limit the max for the dyno to 25.  So please respond to Al at al@smarthomeusa.com by October 1st!

A pull is when they put you car on the dyno to determine it's horsepower. These will be mostly for fun and some information about how your car is running. Normally a dyno pull is one part of a tune to get the most out of your car.

Also - for everyone - we are still short cars to make this event happen so please let me or Al know ASAP if you are interested.  I may start offering prizes if anyone's MINI can quadruple my classic's output LOL ROTF
