Greetings from Kentucky - far cry from near Manchester, England.  I owned a couple of the older model Minis in the late 70's - early 80's and then moved to Canada in 84 then the US in 86.  Started my own beverage testing business about 6 years ago and never thought I'd own another Mini - too posh these days! But I did just get an excellent condition 2006 Cooper S with about 33K on the clock.  Boy does it move - a far cry again from the 850cc and 1100cc early Issigonis' models. But I am again a proud Mini owner and glad to see there are lots of clubs here in the US. [Still 6 mo warranty left on this Mini -what should I be looking out for to get fixed or prevent from breaking before the warranty is up?)

Cheers for now,

Gary.

WELCOME!

Sounds like me with 3 MINI Coopers in my driveway! Just can not have enough... LOL ROTF
I just did the front end bushings, ball joints and upper strut mounts week a go. It also helps to install the upper strut mounts reinforcement plates by M7....over 30,000 change the belt and break fluid. Rest is as you go. Very confused
