ok  my old 111K 03 Mini needed some work . It needed 2 control Arm Bushings Power Steering Pump & the Fan.. which BMW wanted approx $1K in parts.. and over 1300 in  labor.  Ed charged me less than half the labor.. and I got some parts at super great prices (thanks Club.. membership does have its privlages) and got poly bushings..

then on the lift.. we found I needed front brakes and rotors (not unexpected.. Ed did them when the car had approx 70K)  and I need the top bushing in the drivers side strut.. (it was broken thru..) the total additional $450 including parts..

all in all I saved approx 1400+ off what BMW would have charged (based on what I paid and what I know they would have charged!)

and the car handles like a new toy!! it's tight!!  (and sorry to newer 07+ owners.. (i had an 07 MCS on loan for 3-4 weeks) I think the older ones handle better..)

so   kudos to Ed and his all day work! (he started at 9 and finished at 5..)

thanks ed!

just had another repair on my (hell almost 115k now)   03 mini  my cvt transmission cooler developed a leak  (red fluid from the very front of the car  and the radiator was wet)  called ed he diagnosed it immediatly  and got the parts with help from the club.. he repaired it in the evening!!! before the holiday!!!
everything was less than $500  and on a newer car  if you have an out of warrety repair that's less than $500   you are doing good!!!

car rides great and all is fine now
