Topic: photo scavenger hunt?  (Read 1559 times)

with the success of the scavenger hunt in sept.. sue and I were talking about doing a different type of hunt.. a photo hunt.
obvious reuireent would be a digital camera or camera phone. and the clues would not be so exacting as sharons were. and the car would have to be in the shot.

any interest in something like this??

it wouldnt be an exact route.. just places named   as well as all should have a map or a gps??

 hey paul.. we could give out a gps as a gag afterwards... hehehehe

Photo shoot OK I make up a GPS from a cardboard box? LOL...Heeeeeeee LOL ROTF (P.S. the real one is for MINI~Q!)

This sounds like fun-I am definitely in! How about everyone voting on the forum for the best photo of their MINI and give out a prize in addition to trophies for the most scored points? We can also do this at specific seasons of the year and then make a Club Calendar?

I dont think it should be a vote, most points earned on the hunt harder images to get = more points, fastest time done = more points.  stuff like that.  we did good on the last hunt :-D

actually was thinking of more riddle kind of items... and you would have to shoot it.. there would be a list of items to shoot..  or places on LI... not sure how small an area to keep it in...
I mean.. sagamore hill.. Fire Island bridge.. etc..

mini @ captree parking lot with fire island bridge n the photo

like that..  the mini part is proof of actually doing it vs getting an image from the web or from another source

this is an idea in the making still  just thinking abt what do ashoot aND WHERE TO GO  yeah  ive been told where to go many times before

"the way to get to pepperland"  or "we all live in a ...."
 then you shoot that yellow sub looking thing with you mini or part of your mini in the forground

Just a thought Very confused , does this event have to be on Long Island? Could we make it a trip  Rallying! to PA, Up-State or other places and this way maybe get other MINI's involved? It takes an hour plus to get to Hamptons so why not?

as i said  this idea is still in the making of.. plus  its not season dependent.   everyone at te meeting said we should do something different

and yes  image would have to be seen and time would count..but i wouldnt want to penalize  this is for fun.. and im even thinking of a prize  (the other joke ws giving a gps.. AFTER needing it for this hunt....)
