11am Club Meeting at Farmingdale Bowling Lanes at 999 Conklin St. Farmingdale, NY 11735 has been CANCELED due to many scheduled events which are in conflict this month. Enjoy a weekend off.
For the next OCTOBER 3rd Sunday 11am Club Meeting please meet us directly at HASSEL Mini, 100 Cleveland Avenue, Freeport NY 11520. The club meeting will start at 11:30am with free Pizza lunch served by 12:00 and conclude by 1pm.

L. I. CRUIZIN' FOR A CURE
is the only East Coast Car Show whose proceeds support free Prostate Cancer Testing and Education on Long Island.
The 2010 event, presented by Allstate Insurance and run by a dedicated group of volunteers is scheduled for Sunday September 12th, 2010 at the Capital One Bank Building, L. I. Expressway Exit 49N (Route 110) so please mark your calendars.

I wonder if you can spread the word to all mini people you know, that they can
earn $200.00 for doing a 2 1/2 hour survey about a new MINI they are testing in a
driving simulator? Info is as follows:
SIS International Research, a New York City-based market research firm, working on behalf of an automobile manufacturer, is looking for owners of certain car models to take part in a consumer research study. The purpose is to provide consumer feedback on a new prototype car technology that the company is developing.
Our client has asked us to conduct the research among owners of the following car
models. And, each car model must be 2007-2010 model years.
Though owners of these specific car models qualify in a general sense, we will need to ask each interested person some more questions to see if they qualify according to our clients demographic criteria. Thus, we will need to speak by telephone with each potential participant.
If qualified, each person will receive between $200 for their time. Each interview is 2
1/2 hours long. The study takes place in Brooklyn, NY from August 12th – September 2nd.
Each qualified participant must bring their vehicle registration to the study, or else
they will not be able to take part and get paid. In place of the registration, we will
accept the participant’s car as proof, provided they drive it to the research location
for their interview.
