I would say use the Calendar to show events/meetings.  the only use of it now is birthdays. 

In the case of an event change it could be a good place to look to see event times.

you can also take advantage of the chat rooms on this board..it's a great way to keep current and interact with others on the board...you can also hold meetings on there as well...

Thanks Susan, great idea! Way back when we had bad weather we tried to use the chat-room for meetings, and it works great IF YOU USE IT! Would you please help to promote the chat room,maybe host an event about your favorite topic? Anything the club would relate to is great. How about a weekly hour on chat-room with discussions on the what's new in MINI world topic? MINI Clinic, about car problems, fixes and suggestions based on everyone's experience? Go 4 it!

P.S. Best of luck on Robs Eye Surgery!

Thanks Luk!!!!That is why the calendar application was originally installed way back 3+ years ago...I see someone already added the April events. I would greatly appreciate your help maintaining the calendar if you don't mind taking this job? Use the Club Events Schedule flier with link on left bottom and append all upcoming events on to the calendar please...If you can, please try to promote the Calendar using occasional update or announcement post?

thanks paul..i will let rob know...it will be at the end of the month...
in the meantime, i'll try to drum up some people..i have to think of a topic and post a time..hopefully we'll get people in the chat rooms... YES!
oh and rob updated the calendar this morning...

thanks.. it's not until the 29th  but it will be nice to be able to see out of both eyes fer a change

the only thing getting a bit  well..   whatever  is once the rt one is done.. I have to go and do it all over for the left one too

I'll keep trying to whistle and listen for the echo

If it's still here I can't find it......
If not, could it be brought back for those of us who can't get to the meeting?

working on it....too much to do just before MQ. Good news, Fairfield MINI and Mark Smith will be joining us bringing some raffle goodies!
