no I€'m not giving up on the MINI..
just a quick wrap up.
almost 3 weeks ago we brought the mini in for service to Ed.. (a lot of maintenance along with a major repair)  but  while I was in front of Sue (she was in the mini) I was in my old 98 saturn sl2..and on the LIE  when a loud bang and what felt like a bump...

blew the tranny!!!   (aamco estimated $1500 to 2K for a repair.. but the saturn is not in good shape and the  value is only 1600)   so bye bye saturn

and after looking at other cars   and mini  and another Frank Stephenson design.. we are getting....  a mini-mini...aka the Fiat 500.  hey  it fit the budget and parts are less expensive than the mini..

but we really wanted another mini..   so i am holding onto my 03  with 147K miles.. and not sure what you will see us in or around.

remember  we hadnt planned on getting on... the saturn just said goodbye without letting us know it was leaving

Well  just upgraded to an even more loaded model...  what am i Knuts??? actually getting it tomorrow night
 a 2012 Fiat 500 POP  that will now go with my 2003 MINI Cooper
