Hello,

Being that I will be in Las Vegas until next week Friday my time is limited to prepare for the Sunday October 9th meeting.  We ware planning to go to Bear Mountain as we do every year for the Oktoberfest festivities event but because some of you already been there last weekend it may be redundant and therefore I need feedback to see if anyone would be interested to go on the Oct. 9th Sunday? I have been warned about the need to change the route due to the last weather when hurricane Irene hit us and would appreciate any help on planing it.

If we have a low interest on this event I would like to move the October meeting to Sunday the 16th?

Please post here with your reply and help to make the best decision.

Thank you.

Considering I've never been there I would be interested in going.

we might not be able to do it on the 16th as it is the date for making strides in central park...we are going to try for this sunday out on the island, but that's up to how rob is feeling...

we will contact you later to let you know what's what...

Sorry, on the 9th I am volunteering at the walk for Pancreatic cancer at Jones Beach.  I should be able to make a meeting on the 16th though.  Have fun in Vegas!

Thank you for all your replies. I'll be back by tomorrow, Friday afternoon and talk to Rob then get back here on forum with the final plan.  My idea is to get there by 11am latest and get back by 2-3pm Sunday. I would like to start from the Bagel Factory in Famingdale Airport Plaza parking lot and leave at 8:30am latest. Please post any feedback.

i would be the one driving up to bear mountain because rob really can't focus to drive...we don't normally go to the octoberfest and i can't speak for others, but if you need us we're there for you if you want to have the meeting there...

however, if there is low interest in the meeting up there, we could go with you to bear mt and have the meeting on the 16th.

I am sorry if was was not clear about the meeting schedule. It seems as we have only very small interest and it is a trip to get there(gas+time+food+parking fee) so I will call Steve to see if we can use the show room at Hassle this Sunday the 9th or would it be better the Sunday 16th? At the meeting we will be scheduling the upcoming holiday dinner in December and start the planning on the next year MINI~Q plus put together a staff and events to run the auto-show. If this is OK by you please let me know now which date.
 Thank You!
