I guess we will need to get a route up  and I gather the beach lot would be preferable to the mill max lot??

which means we need to get a start point and drive to it...  which means    rob  go figure it out  and get your 'eye' on it   hehehehe

oh  important  when driving through northern nassau  NO SPEEDING!!
plus quite often they have races eitherr bike or foot that morning also... just to muck us up

oh we will probably start at airport plaza but dont eat  unless you really hate seafood

again  if it was just sue and myself or just one car  ild say get there early and park on the back streets..but say we get 5-10 cars...  a parking lot  and take the shuttle bus

ok  here's a route to Center Island Beach that skirts around Oyster Bay  has great views and some of the best roads on LI

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=211145248425670136096.0004ab40f5b023ca250be&msa=0&ll=40.825241,-73.499222&spn=0.259274,0.558243

please print it out or the directions at least and be prepared to leave Airport plaza no later than 9:15-9:30

if you miss us  drive onto one of the later roads and meet up

This will be a direct run without stops (other than signs or lights)

yes there are other ways to bayville.. but this avoids most (i hope) traffic and takes us on some fun roads... for minis... (and fiats... no I wont bring mine)  but someone steal or borrow lucas's new old mini

aww  sorry to hear... this fair is delicious.

oh  last weekend  when we plotted out the route.. we kinda drove into the Mill Neck Manor  apple Fall Festival..also a lot of fun  but the oyster fest is a real Eating festival!!!  one year we sailed around the harbor on the Christine.. a 100 yr old restored oyster sloop..
 you will be missed

do we have others coming Huh  as far as i know  it's us, the kindls and Nemesis

anyone else???

I'm at work today  (actually rt now  shhh)
but I am excited for tomorrow

can I get a count how many are going?Huh

if it ends up just being 2 cars.. I might try to find a place to park in town..(and maybe take the green car)
but if we get more  we would end up taking the full route (and our Mini) and park in Center Island Beach

I will not be joining the trip there but will end up at the fest. Going to be a late night and I definitely will not get up early enough. I have a family friend with a house near the fes5 and will be using their driveway for parking.
