Just for giggles, what kind of antifreeze do these cars take. I have to get mine flushed because I mixed Prestone with the "blue" stuff. Just in case I need to top it off again, I would like to know what Mini uses so I just add it and not pay what Mini charges. It's probably cheaper at Auto Zone and no trip to the dealer. Also, the owners manual does not have a bulb list for  the car. I guess they want to to go to the dealer to replace a $2 bulb for $5 or $6. Thanks for the help

The Club members get a dealer price discount on MINI parts at Habberstad. You need to speak to Joseph Reis (631)271-7177 tell him Paul from US MINI Club send you. Use the OEM antifreeze to make sure your gaskets do not get damaged. Bulbs - just take one to your local parts store, but the OEM at our prices are  very reasonable. Call me if you have questions or want me to call Joseph to reserve the parts for your pick-up.

Hello Scotty!  It's Matthew, I'm about to give you a ring on your car, but first the coolant type is a Blue coolant, made exclusively for MINI, I've never seen it in a store, but it is a ETHYLENE GLYCOL BASED ANTIFREEZE WITHOUT NITRITES OR PHOSPHATES.  But it
s the lubercant that matters, thats why ours is blue not green.   Also, heads up to both of you and Paul,  You get a 10% discount in not just inparts but labor too!!!  Hope that helps a little>
