Officially a Mini owner now

Just thought I'd introduce myself... I'm Jon from the north fork and just got an 06 MCS in pepper white. My wife has had a Clubman since late 08 so I'm not totally new, we've attended a Montauk cruise last year and a Mini Q show but I was still a VW guy at heart so driving her car wasn't all that great for me (mainly b/c it wasn't an S and wasn't a stick). Anyways, I just picked my MCS up last week and already have some plans for it, nothing too major, just coilovers then wheels and some exterior color changes. Looking forward to making it out to some more events this year in my own car this time; need to check the calendar to see if we can make it to the cruise in February.

You didn't miss me b/c I never made it... we actually ended up taking my daughter to see Sesame St live at MSG that day as an early bday present (she just turned 2 on the 4th). I just got my coilovers delivered today and have put them next to the other parts waiting to be installed (new motor mount and poly bushings, crank sensor seal, ipod interface, etc), I'm hoping to make the best of this Saturday to get some things installed. Hopefully I can make the tax day run (but of course, as it is right now, I'm planning a trip to FL to see my family right around that date).
