Since I was hoping for a good deal more participation from other than a single Mini Group.. and I was going to take my Fiat, and since I have gotten a lot of flack for trying to do this rally (what is it  crossing the line or going over the english channel). I am CANCELLING This Run. All who want to go can do it on their own.

our 8th wine Rally though I'm doing this a little different. and I'm opening this to Fiat's and other cars too.

We will Start WEST at Airport Plaza by the Bagel Factory, meeting around 10-10:30 and leaving NO LATER than 11:10 !!
We really suggest you bring radios/walkie-talkies (on channel 7) and if you plan on imbibing a lot.. bring another driver.  No offense to Paul's post but we will NOT be going on the expressway. Some roads will be on the Southern State, some will be on Sunrise, and a lot will be smaller roads. Yes we will pass thru villages with lights so stay with the group.  We are planning on hitting a few very small and not well known vineyards that arent on the north fork too.

First stop will be Loughlin Vineyard in Sayville

Then a back way to Main Street in Jamesport (avoiding Riverhead) to the Sherwood House Tasting Room

I’m going to have to be a maybe... I have a MINI/work excursion down to VA planned for 3/20 - 23 and I’m not sure that I can swing it unless Mrs. Albie is in.  She had a lot of fun last year so maybe it’s just the thing for when I get back.  Will keep you posted!

Ya, not to be a downer but what is deal with the other car gig?  I'm mean your more then welcome to love both fiat and MINI.  But, mixing the two together is kinda disheartening, it's kinda like eating your mcflurry and mcnuggets at taco bell?  It just doesn't make sense.

Actually.. it's a Frank Stephenson rally.. so technically we should only have 1st Gen Mini's and Fiat 500's (as well as a few ferrari's)

but I'm allowing later Mini's too..
 or maybe we should have Mini's, Fiat's new TBirds, HHR, Mustangs, Challengers, Camaro's and such and call it a Retro Rally...

 but we have had other cars on the rallys before.. one time we had a BMW M2000 join us driven and owned by Miniero..

so are you in or out?

oh and to albie, if you know anyone with either a Stude Avanti or Avanti II or a Jag model XK E-type from mid 60's (two of the most beautiful cars there were) I would LOVE them to join us

ok  so on all 4 sites (Here, NEMINI, Fiat500USA, and FB, this is now listed as my own rally.. and I've also posted that I do not want SUVs (Definalty no Hummers!!! or Explorers!!) but I would like old or new cars.. preferably unique ones, like MINIs, Fiats, maybe Austins  (what was that 2 seater that was at the picnic at Long Beach north of Nissequoge??? was that an early Aston??  it was blue..   things like that) as I've stated I would love to see a Type E mid 60's Jag..   hell I'ld like to own one!!

I want to make this very different and fun and unique!!!   and I really have my reasons for making this unique and a hit  so come on !!!

I Going to Bring my Mom's MINI van, I didn't see that not allowed on the list.  This way I can carry around all the drunk people.  I can fit 7 in it.  Who wants a DD!!!!!  lol.   It's v-tech engine should smoke a fiat!!!!!    Ohh, I'm rolling in my chair right now with laughter over the thought of this.  (hek I'll even put bonnet stripes on it, for good measure)
