This is something Sue and I went to the last two weeks...
it's $14.95 a person.. and has fresh melon, pastries, incredible homemade French toast (no syrup needed!!)  mexican eggs with pico de gaio, cheese, and tortilla strips, plus you can get fresh omlettes of whatever they have there, home made chorizo (it's spicy!) bacon, grits (for us north/south folks) potatoes, mexican beef stew, and sometimes pancakes...
THEN there is the taco bar.. with pork, chicken, or beef, hard and soft taco shells, with all the trimmin's  dont see what you want?? just ask!

oh yes.. they also have their full lunch menu too if you want!

so (baring no odd circumstances) Sue and I will be there this sunday (it runs from 11 to 3) @ noon.. and we are wondering who would like to join us??  I would like to get a count so I could let the folks there know how many of us are coming...

that's This Sunday @ noon..  behind the Source Mall next to the Lowes Raceway Theater in Westbury

PS  we havent had to eat the rest of the day!

As you may know we have our Connecticut meet monthly as a brunch/lunch, so you all are welcome to come over and hop the big lake that stands in the way between Connecticut and LI.  By the way, the ferry is way too expensive (and takes you farther than where you need to be) so driving is probably key.  Our next meet is next Sunday at 12noon if you are interested.  We might even be able to gauge our planning so that it doesn't overlap with the USMINICLUB club meeting - this month it is the week before.  We can ensure that going forward we don't overlap.  Thoughts?  Woopy dance

Paul - Darker tequila is always better than white tequila.  Sauza Comemorativo is aged Tequila (and is dark).  And don't forget - anything that was not produced in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico is not true tequila - I have had much training in the way of Tequila. Tongue

Paul,
I'm making it this coming weekend, for sure. The only tequila I have on hand is Patron Anejo - I'll pick up the white this week. You can never have too much tequila.

I somewhat understand about different tequilas, just came back fro Mexico only couple of moths a go and yes they gave me education there...this is just for a cooking recipe not drinking, and I like use white tequila for that only reason.  It is less intrucive with many other falvors combined.  Thanks J.
