I picked up my first mini, an R56 (MCS DS/DS loaded w/ everything) last week.  I've wanted one since I was 7 about 35 years ago when I saw them all over the place in Nice, France.  Anywhoozle, LOVE the car!!    I'm in Brookhaven Hamlet, LI.

Can't wait for a Mini-a-thon rally.  When's then next event.

(recently)  from  Bay Shore.. having just arrived 2 weeks ago from Freeport

 brookhaven eh???  near the nice peaceful Nat'l Lab??


(proves that even accelerators can have a sex change... it went from ISABEL to RHIC (pronounced rick))

 go figure

 see.. I kinda keep track of oddities

Actually, I'm nowhere near the Nat. Lab.  I'm way down on the bay, next to Belport.  BUT, I did do my internship in the 80's at Brookhaven Labs in the meteriology dept, cool stuff back then, bet it's MUCH different now though. 

Oh, I work in Deer Park, I do Bayshore for lunch all the time...  love that new BBQ place, smokey joes or something like that !

"MINIBIRD" is now 2 months old, I need a MINI Rally....
