hi,
i'm paul and i own a mini mc40. i absolutely love it. i came across the site because i was looking on the web to improve the sound of the stereo and have a direct ipod connection.
now my mind is going 1400 different directions.
if anyone has an idea let me know. my biggest concern is warranty issues and installaton quality. i do not want to trick it out, just a simple upgrade.
also i bought my car at mini of the hamptons back in 04, and their service is excellent. i have owned  a few different cars and this is the best service i have ever had.
i'm 932 out of the 1000 mc40's made. my next mini will be one of the works editions but i have tons of time and miles left in my baby!!!

anyway, thanks for looking and hello!

you could always add the jcw kit to your mc40 or go aftermarket to get a little more kick

the jcw kit is a supercharger reduction pulley, cold air intake, catback exhaust , larger injectors, a slightly ported cylinder-head, and software.
aftermarket would be pulley $130, intake $230, catback $900, injectors $300, head $1500, software $500-$800 for 3,560-3,860
the aftermarket will also make significantly more power  Pimping Out!

for a nice upgrade do the pulley, intake, exhaust
or if you're content with stock power you can just drive it the way it came and have lots of fun
