Exhaust pop gone??

Hello to everyone! Haven't been on in a while and I had a question , I had an early 06 that was totaled in an accident and the exhaust popped nicely. Since then I got a later model 06 and it barely pops. I asked this question at the dealer and was told that Mini quieted that down due to some complaints. They did this by changing some sensors and somewhat. I'd like to know how to bring that pop back? Does anyone know?
