sorry we couldnt make it with you guys yesterday.. seemed like a nice day for a DRIVE

kudos to Peter for being a route leader.. does this mean I should be sweeper on RLI4?

to James.. hope you fiance feels better soon.. know what it's like to miss stuff due to illness

to the new folks (whose name of course I fergot,, except one is Helen and the car is Lil Helen.. and the other car is some underwater version of a MINI) hope you had a fun time.... rides like these off into the mtns are always fun.. and the group becomes more of a large family than just a 'club'

hope to see the lot of you next week...
 and maybe at least one couple (who was NOT in a mini yesterday) the following week.. (you know who you are)

I see the Oktoberfest is running from September 13 thru October 26.  I'm sure it will happen again.  There's also the Autofest at the Plattdeutsche in Floral Park, September 28 (Sunday).
