ok.. we raised about $500 from the ralley.. which Sue and I are giving to ACS next Sunday AM in Central Park in Manhattan.. after which we are walking 5 miles with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

anyone want to join us?? (you can check the site here
http://makingstrides.acsevents.org/site/TR/MakingStridesAgainstBreastCancer/MSABCFY08Eastern?pg=entry&fr_id=3405

so far.. I think we are once more being joined by Sam Kindl (and whoever she can bring)

and i might meet some friends from my AM commute as well as a good friend of Sue's

usually Sue and I end up at Bubba Gump's in Times Square for a very early dinner or late lunch.. (we tend to finish the walk around 1 pm.. you dont have to do the entire 5 miles)

PS  I know a lot of the managers at Gumps also.. such is life

There's no date here.. you mean the 21st of October?  We could have raised enthusiasm from the MINY crew on NAM... there's still time... although we do have a night rallye with the Philly guys the night before....

it's was posted on the oriiginal RLI4 thread.. that the money collected would be handed in the following week at Making Strides.. and since this is the 15th Making Strides... it wasnt needed.. besides... I'm now looking for those who want to walk 5 miles... no motoring involved... afterwords.. Sue and I go to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Times Sq

besides.. we are going in via LIRR and subway.

just checked... it's reply #13 on Sept 17th stating 1 week after our ralley and the same link to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer website.

I'm not trying to create conflict here, merely asking a question.  I believe every thread should have as much information as possible.  Telling me, "go there," or "I already stated when it is.." when you know what the information is already and can easily enough provide the information to me or anyone else creates hostility.
