I will be storeing my MCS for the winter soon . I don't want LIl' Helens feet to get into the snow or salt. Does anyone know how long I can park her with out starting her or driveing. I plan to let her sleep for about 10 weeks. Any Ideas .
Also has anyone had there Mini on the snow and Ice I would like to know how they handle it. The front is only about 3 inches fronm the pavement.

                                                                     Thanks

john,
initially... the tires that came with the car were great on dry  and great in rain .. and EHH on on snow (and ice)  those were Conti Contact Touring (again.. I have a plain MC.. not MCS  and no runflats)

I swapped to Goodyear TripleTread Assurance and they've been great in all weather.. (just remember to rotate them or else they wear fast)

a lot of folks went to special snow tires (like Bridgstone Blizzaks or Dunlop (m2? M3?) nd they usually were quite good.. again.. not for dry ground...

once I switched..   tremendous difference.   hey  I use a car all year.. feel free to store yours... personally.. if I did.. I'ld start it and let it run once every week in very cold conditions... in a garage.. with heat... once every 3 weeks.

 just my opinion

Rob

John, we will have Eric the representative of 'CTEK' with modern battery charges to help you with answers to your questions on the winter storage.  There will also be a presentation on car finishing product and some samples to help you keep your MINI in shape. The Club meeting is this Sunday 11am at Habberstad MINI located at 945 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station 11746 - see you then.

Here are some tips-a few are a little excessive, but overall a good overview:
