c'mon people...

we have 4 (or 5) nice vineyards lined up.. (and I need someone with a convertible to go.. Prince Marco Borghese (yes he is a real prince) is looking to get a Mini.. a ragtop)

two years ago.. we had 18 cars parked alongside Pindar... last year.. I think we finished up with... what 10??  but there are new members.. ok.. so the ride there will be relativly direct..    495 to edwards to sound.. etc..  but we always have a fun time!!!

 lets get a list going!!!!!

Hi Guys,

I would love to attend the wine rally, I live on the east end, Mastic Beach, is there anyway I could meet up with the group somewhere out east.....say Riverhead? This will be my first event so just let me know the details.

Thanks

sure   just head straight north... we will most likely be taking the LIE (sorry all.. but wine rallies are for the vineyards.. maybe some pretty roads afterwards) to Edwards and going north... to Sound Ave.. maybe I might try a back route there...   not sure yet..
but if you are on Sound Ave... EAST of edwards.. you will see us..  say by Briermere Farms  the first stop is Waters Crest at 11-11:30 Saturday

Can I have the list of the wineries that we are attending on the North Fork.  I will have to cut out when you guys head to the Sayville Winery ( My buddy lives out there and I have to pick up something at his house), but I may meet up with you guys for dinner.  Also, count me in for two people on the rally.

Thanks guys.   Let's MOTOR!

Rob Friedman has the final list and I believe it will be 4-5 wineries including our 1st ever visited winery four years a go the Waters Crest Winery.

sayvile is only a possiblity..
as it is.. we have 4 vineyards all along rt 48.. and i was thinking of either the Lobster Roll Northside.. or zigzagging to Port Jefferson and ending up at the Steamroom...

any other thoughts have been asked.  If we do go to Sayville... (the Loughlin Vineyard).. then I have NO IDEA where we will end up to eat... probably some place in Islip, Deer Park, Bay Shore or who knows.. maybe in Bohemia.. again.. I'm at a loss.. plus allowing some time for the 4 vineyards (Waters Crest, Castillo Borghese, Macari, and Roanoke).. most likely wont allow us time to head down to Sayville..

but dont worry... after all.. we first hit Loughlin Vineyard on a LI Oddities ralley.. not on a wine ralley!!!. We could make a ride to there again... hell.. we could go after an april meeting if you want
