First REMINDER!

You are all invited to come to the OBI Cruise morning 8am to 10am (arrive early for best parking) on this coming Sunday March 30th, and support our friends from L.I.M.E.

Our next US MINI Club monthly meeting will be held at Hassel MINI, 100 Cleveland Avenue, Freeport NY 11520, on Sunday March 6th starting at 11am.

This important meeting will be about the upcoming POKER Run agenda and best poker hand winners prizes, scheduled for Sunday April 13th. We will also go over the MINI~Q III Staff assignments and two day schedule of the Auto Show and  Autocross including Sponsors Raffle prizes and the new Trophies we have designed.   Please arrive promptly; Hassel MINI is preparing a nice welcome lunch for us to be served during the meeting, and I am sure you would not want to miss it.

The US MINI Club will be hosting a largest Long Island MINI Cooper Auto Show and Autocross the MINI~Q III 2008, this year scheduled for Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th, and you are all invited! At the April 6th US MINI Club monthly meeting we will have custom MINI~Q III 2008 advertising POSTERS available for distribution with the MINI~Q III sponsoring Dealerships listing. If you have any sponsors of your own in mind, and need a POSTER, we will be glad to custom imprint their name and logo just for the asking! Please email your request for the posters to host@usminiclub.com or let us know at the Sunday April 6th meeting.

If you read the previous post announcement it says that Meeting will be at HASSEL 100 Cleveland which is the Service Dept. !!!!

But the date says March 6th??? We may know 100 Cleveland Ave is the Service Center, but some folks who have never been to a meeting may not.

Here's a copy of the email I received from LIME today regarding this Sunday:

 Hello all LIME Members.  The Weather promises to be good for this one so if you can make it you won't be dissapointed.  The turnout for Cars at OBI/Captree Sunday get-togethers is really great. 
 
LIME has scheduled a Sunday morning get together at OBI from 8 am to 10am the Oak Beach Parking lot on Ocean Parkway just west of Captree StatePark
Take the Robert Moses Parkway south from Southern State Parkway over the big bridge that crosses the Great South Bay.Then take Ocean Parkway a short distance to the free parking lot on the left.
The best you come to after making a complete lap of the parking lot
Wantagh Parkway and Meadow Parkway also intersect Ocean Parkway at the southernmost end. No tolls are collected at this time of year.Look forward to seeing you if you can make it!
