Monthly Meeting this Sunday Aug. 17th at 11am!
Please make a note on your schedule for this week Sunday August 17th starting at 11am. The new place we are meeting is in Farmingdale Long Island, NY on Conklin St. about 200 yards west form Rt. 110. The Bowling Lanes are opposite from the Farmingdale Airport Plaza shopping center, so if you like to get together about 10am at the usual place by the Bagel Factory to pickup coffee and breakfast then all of us can head on to the new place. We are going to plan on much more than just monthly club meetings and the next MINI~Q 2009 auto show at this Club meeting. How about weekly TUNER-NIGHT Events and Bowling Tournaments! The schedule of these events will be decided at the meeting this Sunday so please try your best to attend. Wait, there is more! The TUNER-NIGHT events will include monthly best in show awards and free bowling game tickets to all who participate!

How about new official US MINI Club T-Shirts? We have received an offer to produce them and very reasonable prices ($12 - $15) form a reputable company. Details will be discussed at the meeting. Many of you are asking when and where we are going to schedule our Garage Parties again well this is your opportunity to participate in the schedule. Also the annual RLI-V Round Long Island Rally date will be decided on. Please attend this Sunday Club meeting to help us in the new events schedule planning. There will be free bowling tickets to all who attend this Sunday Club meeting!

Great to see everyone at the Sunday meeting. I will be working with Rob on the RLI-5 (Round Long Island Rally) schedule and route and also keep looking for the email announcement on the Garage Party schedule in early September. I think we should do a before garage party inspections to get ideas on the status of the car so we have no surprises when doing the work. Anyone looking to attend the upcoming garage party please email me to: host@usminiclub.com and I will send you my address so we can get together for the before garage party inspection maybe this Saturday morning?

Sorry Peter. You are the third person saying that they did not receive the club announcements email. I will have to look in to this...I will cerate a Club Email Announcements category on the board and post copies of any email that was send out from now on.

Sorry Adam. I think we reached a limit on how many emails can be send at the same time, and the only way will be building a local members email list which I am working on right now. The rules of internet email blasts, as per our ISP, are no more than 25 emails at any given time so I have to parse the large sets in to small bundles.

Anyone who desires to be included in the local Long Island NY, NY City, New Jersey and Connecticut area Club Mailing list, please email me at host@usminiclub.com. This way only the local members who can attend will get invites and special events announcements to participate in our MINI rallies and MINI garage parties.
