Hello,

As you have all noticed we have been down for couple of days, sorry. Due to upgrades required to protect our web sites from outside hackers we are in progress to move the entire Forum (www.usminiclub.us ), Blog (www.usminiclub.us ) and Shop (www.usminiclub.org ) web sites to a new dedicated (not shared anymore) web server with 100x greater security and firewall protection. As you can imagine this will take some time and all of us will experience periods of no access to the web site. We are working hard to make sure that these outages are as short as possible.

What’s New!

We are currently working with Joe from the Farmingdale Bagel factory planning on the next US MINI Club meeting, who owns a great Repairs/Service and Performance/Dyno Shop also in Farmingdale. The meeting of course will be held right in his work shop and at this time we are looking to hold the meeting on Sunday September 28th. If this is a problem for anyone please let us know right now by replying to this thread.  As we did at the last meeting we will have a free raffle and this time it is a surprise prize, not what you would expect as last time.

Please join us!
 Let's MOTOR!

Paul,

 I will not be there, but I would like to put this on teh table.

I think that the members that have zero posts should be deleted, I would say anyone that has been a member for 3 months or more and has not posted anythign should be removed.  I just did a count and we have 912 members, 746 of them have never posted.

OK...Joe's speed shop is only 3 minutes away from the Airport Plaza Bagel Factory where we would meet first the go there! I was there yesterday afternoon, and we are planing on a club meeting there either next Sunday Sept. 28th or the week after which could be either Sat. Otc. 4th or Sun. Oct. 5th?

I need more input here what days would be more preferable to everyone helping in making the best decision for the actual date!

Here are the dates and time:

-> Sunday Sept. 28th - 10-11am
-> Saturday Otc. 4th  - 3-4pm
-> Sunday Oct. 5th - 10-11am

FREE Raffle for couple of prizes and on of them is over $150 ! Come ans see the shop, get to know the mechanics and their work. YES  there are  lifts and may be possible for the club members to rent one!

Please post here with your date preference to help us.
Thank You!

Looks like the Sunday is better for most of us to hold the club meeting, but if we can get more positive replies by moving it to Saturday the 18th or Sunday the 19th of October so be it!  Post your reply here please.
 Thank You!
I do intent to go to the Bear mountain also but both my kids and wife is working on the 4th so I am stuck alone. This means I may need ride or go alternate date. Very confused
