so  like we do alnost every year.. sue and i are heading out to montauk on new years day a/k/a  1/1/2009.  It will be impromptu with no set route.. but i  hope to be a nice ride.. we will leaavefrom Airport Plaza no later than 9:15.

i was thinking of opening this to other non-mini retro cars  ie; HHR, tbird, pt crussier, new beetle, even old beetle and old mini, that sort.  any opinions?

so  any others want to go???  and yes it will be weather dependent... 
hopefully the roads wont be so terrible..  but as i said we ae winging it on the way out.. hoping to remember my hampton bypass on the way back.. and then (well sue and I) go to PJ to the Steamroom for a breadbowl of new england clam chowder or bisque.

 think of this as " Back and Forth Long Island"

sorry none of you came.. we went put to the ppint (also drove around camp hero)
 tried a little it of the bypass back but as we figured  the roads werent well

but zigzaged up to PJ and the steamroom  where  being thursday.. they had there lobster 2 for 1 deal  @ 9.95lb  as well as the breadbowl chowder

 all in all a really nice day out
