Hey all!  Took delivery of my 2008 PW/B MC in August and haven't been quite the same since!  When I have the time (sometimes tough with four children under the age of eight) I've been in the Owner's Lounge and over on NEMINI, but it seems like there's more Long Islanders here.  Finally have a solid babysitter, so I'm looking for any excuse to hop in the MINI and drive.

Along those lines - wonder how many people might consider joining me in a run (possible for charity) from Southampton to Montauk Point.  The date is May 16th, the Saturday before Memorial Day Weekend.  The village of Southampton is allowing us to use the lot at Coopers Beach on Dune Road in Southampton to start the run - I'll have more details in the coming weeks once everything is more firm.

That's all for now!

Southhampton Village tends to be very nice and supportive when I've called them
Sounds great.. if you need any help with a route...just ask

suggestion   try to be at the club meeting on the 8th   at the other end of the county in Farmingdale.  I'm now in Bay Shore

Thanks guys!  With a full house, I probably won't be able to make any meetings, though I would like to.  Rob, I'll be looking for your route on the wine rally in late March - I need to see the format of it so I can get my route done.  I saw the one that Aurel did on Google Maps for the Sunrise run this September - very nice, but I'm technologically not quite there.

Rob, feel free to PM or e-mail the do's and don'ts about how to post events through USMINI.  I know nothing about registering people or the rules, etc. and I don't want to offend anyone!  Along those lines, I threw in my 2 cents on the wine rally route since I'm pretty familiar with everything out here.  Didn't mean to intrude and I hope to meet up with you guys!

Thank You! and  Let's MOTOR! on May 16th!
