I need to get an approx count on who will be joing us on the wine ralley.

we will be starting off from Airport Plaza in Farmingdale on Rt 110 @ 8:30 (You can get breakfast and pickup a snack or a lunch if you wish)with a drive out to Lenz wineries (approx time should be 11 am)
The drive will be on and off the LIE as well as some roads detailing the Ronkonkama Moraine.. and a ride along Peconic Bay..with a very brief stop at a site of the first Sub base in the US (South Jamesport)
afterwards we will be across the street at Raphael.   then some small roads and over to Sherwood House.. a really homey vinyard north of the north road.
There will be wine tasting and facilities at all these.

We will then head back west with a surprise stop at LI's first distillery since the 1800's @LI spirits  who are making a premium vodka from  LI Potates. Afterwards.. we will end up in Sayville at Loughlin Vineyards.. a real hidden gem on Long Island.

as far as usually going to a place for dinner..  I'm still up in the air on that
So lets get an idea who is coming.

1: Sue and I
2:Papafoxtrot  (& maybe Chiquita)
3:Batmini (Paul & Marilyn)
4:Bzzz (maybe Jax)
5:Seatrax (aka Checkers) + 1 @ Lenz
6:Pedrocooper
7:Albiecrazy
8:EricvonZipper + 1 (harvey lembeck?)
9:Tom & Katie (they dont have a computer but have been at the last 2 meetings)
10:James (being chauffered)
11:Sam & Leo
12:Pirate (2)
13:Friends of Seatrax (2)
14:Macinova (2)

It's looking good for me - I'll probably hang with everyone while they're on North Fork!  Looking forward to this!

Something on my mind about this winery rally.
Please I want all to understand about my rallies. I go for sights and hopefully fun and interesting roads. For those new on here, my background is photography and I enjoy just driving down small roads.. not necessarily SPEEDING!!. While I'm sure we will end up faster than the limit.. (hey  it just happens) we go with the flow. The cops know that.. and for those of you new on here.. since we are playing on their turf. as a courtesy I let the local PDs  know that we are there.  No its not a bad thing as those who went to pindar with us will attest. A patrolman stopped us on rt 25.. (we werent speeding).. just so he could see 18 MINIs go by.

Also  if you plan on over indulging on the wine tasting.. go with someone who wont be drinking as much.

ANY DUI/DWI WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. In the past we usually hit 3 vineyards. This time it will be 4 plus a distillery. After the distillery we will be on another fun though mostly straight road  (ok  only mostly).
sorry if this bothers anyone.. but I just wanted to speak my peace.  see you all sunday

Also any tickets or accidents are not the doing of the club or Rob.  If you get a ticket or into an accident it is on you.
